Policies & Procedures

At Sprink Speaks Therapy Solutions, our goal is to provide consistent, high-quality speech and language services while maintaining clear expectations for families and partners. The following policies are designed to support effective service delivery and mutual respect of time and resources.

1. Scheduling & Attendance

Consistent attendance is essential for progress in speech therapy.

  • Sessions are scheduled in advance and reserved specifically for your child

  • Clients are expected to attend all scheduled sessions on time

  • Repeated cancellations or missed sessions may result in schedule adjustments or discontinuation of services

2. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

We understand that unexpected situations arise.

  • A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a session

  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may result in:

    • Loss of the session

We will make reasonable efforts to reschedule sessions when proper notice is provided.

3. Late Arrival Policy

  • Clients arriving late will receive the remaining portion of their scheduled session only

  • Sessions will end at the originally scheduled time to avoid disruption to other clients

  • Full session fees still apply for late arrivals

4. No-Show Policy

  • A no-show is defined as missing a session without prior notice

  • No-shows are non-refundable and non-transferable

  • Repeated no-shows may result in removal from the schedule or requirement of prepayment for future sessions

5. Payment Policy

  • Payment is due prior to or at the time of service, unless otherwise agreed

  • Accepted payment methods: [Insert methods—e.g., card, online payment, etc.]

  • Outstanding balances may result in suspension of services

6. Refund Policy

  • All services are non-refundable once rendered, including therapy sessions, evaluations, and consultations

  • No refunds are issued for missed sessions or partially used services

  • Refunds or credits may be considered only in extenuating circumstances, at the discretion of Sprink Speaks Therapy Solutions

7. Subscription Services (If Applicable)

For clients enrolled in subscription-based services:

  • Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis

  • Services included in the subscription must be used within the billing period

  • No refunds for unused or partially used sessions

  • Cancellation requires 7 days notice before the next billing cycle

8. Session Packages (If Applicable)

  • Packages are non-refundable once any session is used

  • Unused sessions may expire after [insert timeframe, e.g., 60–90 days]

  • Packages are non-transferable unless otherwise approved

9. Communication Policy

  • Communication is available via email, phone, or approved messaging platforms

  • Response times are typically within 24–48 business hours

  • Urgent matters should be clearly indicated

10. Client Participation & Responsibilities

To support your child’s success:

  • Caregivers may be asked to participate in sessions or implement strategies at home

  • Consistent follow-through with recommended activities is strongly encouraged

  • Providing accurate and updated information about your child is essential

​

11. Illness Policy

To maintain a healthy environment:

  • Please cancel sessions if your child is experiencing:

    • Fever

    • Contagious illness

    • Vomiting or severe symptoms

  • Sessions canceled due to illness with proper notice may be rescheduled

​

12. Confidentiality & Data Protection

All client information is handled with strict confidentiality in accordance with professional standards. Please refer to our Privacy Policy and Client Data Protection Statement for full details.

13. Right to Modify Services

Sprink Speaks Therapy Solutions reserves the right to:

  • Adjust schedules as needed

  • Modify service delivery methods (in-person, virtual, etc.)

  • Discontinue services if policies are not followed

14. Agreement to Policies

By booking services with Sprink Speaks Therapy Solutions, you acknowledge and agree to abide by these policies and procedures.
